The Hobbit combines all three parts of the extended trilogy with a total running time of 9 hours into a single feature film of 3.5 hours. Characters like the Pale Orc, Radagast, Galadriel, Saruman, Legolas, Tauriel and most action scenes have been entirely cut to more closely resemble Tolkien’s book.
